I hope you all have a restful holiday and enjoy the company of your tamariki over this two week break. Please remember to maintain your child's reading over the next 2 weeks as well as maintaining their writing.

 

Term One, week 11

Waikanae School and the PTA invite you to a special event. It’s...    NEW PARENT'S EVENING This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents who are new to the school and who might also be new to the area.  Come along and enjoy a drink and some nibbles and discuss those holiday child-care plans! Date: TONIGHT, 14 April Time: 7-9 PM Venue: School Staffroom (through the School Office)

Term One, week 10

Mihi o te wiki nga matua o nga tamariki i te ruma waru.

Your child can go on to Mathletics at home if you have internet access, this maths learning sight is interactive and a fun way of learning.  If your child needs their username and password come and see me.

Can you please make sure your child is doing their reading at home each night and you are filling in their Reading Journals.  If for any reason your child is unable to do their nightly reading please feel free to inform me of any issues.
